Description: A decorative tile border for the teachers’ patio enclosure was initiated a year after the school was open featuring images of birds, insects, and wildflowers again highlighting the local habitat. The students’ tiles were alternated with commercial tiles in solid blue, gold and white—colors inspired by Mexican Talavera tile work.
