Bill Gould, Artist
• Creating large scale interpretive art pieces since 1994
• Majority of work focuses on collaborative public art for the urban environment
• Most projects involve steel as medium due to strength & ease of maintenance
• Woven wire cable, kinetic elements, cut metal leaves, glass, ceramic, hardware, recycled materials,
found objects or ball shapes can be found in Bill’s sculptures
• The “golden section” along with elements found in nature influences Bill’s art
• Worked with numerous school districts in the bay area to incorporate collaborative public art into their
campuses through his ART IN ARCHITECTURE program
• Specializes in fences, gates, sculpture, and developing projects that fit the space
