“Dream Tree” is a steel cable weave installation at the new Downtown College Prep Campus in San Jose, CA. The steel cable is woven and anchored based on the Fibonacci sequence. The installation was installed in the campus main entry. Strands of leaf-like glass, created by Elise Ordorica, hang from the steel cable intersections in increments reflecting the Fibonacci sequence. The end result is cascading strands of glass, reflecting the Valley Oak canopies found throughout San Jose, CA.
