Foothill High School is a continuation school that focuses on individualized learning and is committed to giving all students the necessary skills and academic background to be successful in their academic studies. To help facilitate this mission, we teamed with East Side Union High School District to modernize their outdated MUR and transform it into an event center for students, staff and the community.

The need for a highly flexible space gave us the opportunity to design an open environment with roll-up doors for ease of access, a wet bar with custom backsplash for receptions, and two multi- screen video walls for graphics and entertainment. The easily maintained custom luxury vinyl flooring was designed to create a three-dimensional effect in a monochromatic palette. The attached servery was upgraded and enhanced to accommodate events with accessibility from both the event center interior and exterior café-style seating area. The modernization also included acoustic, lighting and audio visual upgrades.
